My name is Hailey Akkerman (she/her), a graphic designer, illustrator, and self-proclaimed coffee addict. While completing most of my education in Nampa Idaho, I spent a semester abroad at Dongseo University in Busan, South Korea. Afterwards, finishing with my BA in Graphic Design from Northwest Nazarene University in 2020.
From 2020 to 2025 I worked as a Graphic Designer II at Scentsy in Meridian, Idaho.
When I'm not working you can find me illustrating fanart, trying out a new restaurant

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
I simply love creating! I always want to work hard to create spectacular artwork that inspires others just as much as it inspires me! I love getting knee-deep into creative projects and getting to create something new and fun!
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SHOWS?
I'd say Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Inuyasha, Naruto, Adventure Time, and Arrested Development, just to name a few!

WHO INSPIRES YOUR ARTWORK?
I am inspired by artists such as Arina Tanemura, Mia Ikumi (I even got a tattoo from one of her mangas!) as well as Rinko Ueda with her manga "Tail of the Moon" and Mirka Andolfo and her comic "Sweet Paprika". I admire artists who put lots of expression in their characters and details in their projects.
